"So, what did you..." Violet started, before she was immediately interrupted.
"Don't worry about that just yet Violet. You've had a long day. Eat now and then we'll talk after."
She didn't have to be told twice and wolfed down two slices before she even started to slow down. She wasn't hungry - she was famished. It wasn't until halfway through the third slice as the urgency faded, she slowed down and started to look suspiciously at her guest. "So, what is it you think you know," she asked warily, "and why do you think I'd care, or that anyone would believe you?"
